Building sustainability training: the Foundations

Aims & Objectives
The objectives of WP2 are :
- 1 To review the literature and current state of art on knowledge transfer tools and their application and success in global value chains; barriers and obstacles to knowledge transfer across borders and literature around circular business model design and design for sustainability transitions in manufacturing. There will be a particular focus on the development of design principles, strategies and tools to support organisations and practitioners in integrating design for sustainability into their activities (R&I, TOK-after secondments through reintegration of knowledge back into institution and provide feedback on training tools).
- 2 To design a Transition maturity scoring model and plan to inform the knowledge transfer and learning programme.
Tasks of WP2
Task 2.1
Review the literature on design for sustainability transitions in manufacturing, environmentally driven organisational behaviour change, knowledge transfer tools and their application and success in global value chains. (M2-6).
Task 2.2
Develop a Transition maturity assessment scale and model, highlighting different phases of skills and competency development based on a literature review. AU, TU and C to participate in the development of this scale and model (M8-9) to be populated after the trials.
Task 2.3
BU to invite to selected EU based electronics equipment manufacturers/distributers/users/recyclers to participate in the TranSMKnow research via interviews, focus groups and some workshop attendance.
